Summer 2011 Mailing Soon
Our newest issue hit the presses earlier this week
May 27, 2011
Well, I for one am more than ready for summer. Each year, the winter months seem to get a little colder, a little more snowy and last a little longer... maybe it's symptomatic of inching slowly towards my retirement dream of whiling away winters in the southwestern U.S. Either way, I'm glad to see the mercury rising and the sun peeking out from the clouds with a little more frequency.
Once again we have an issue full of advice and ideas aimed to get you in your boat and out enjoying Canada's waterways. Mike Milne continues his voyage along the historic Rideau Canal, picking up his trip in the Rideau lakes and cruising through to Kingston. Our MyBoat DIY project leads readers through the process of installing a custom hardtop, while the electronics column takes a look at over-current protection. Naturally, there's much more... you'll just have to take a look to see for yourself what's on offer.
The digital edition should be ready sometime next week - keep an eye on http://boatsandplaces.dgtlpub.com. Or you can wait for the hard copy to arrive in your mailbox around mid-June.
As always, we love to hear from our readers, so please let us know if you'd like to see something specific covered in the magazine or if there is any room for improvement. Also, if you have any questions you'd like answered.
Thanks for reading.
Amanda
