2012 Princecraft Vantage 25 XT

Fully featured, versatile and still affordable

I am going to start this review with a gross understatement: Princecraft makes great pontoon boats. They achieve this with their willingness to try new ideas, while adapting to customer and dealer requests. When I break it down, you will see what I am getting at. The Vantage line is Princecraft’s middle-of-the-road lineup of pontoons; they’re fully featured and versatile yet affordable. You can fish, ski and cruise in many different configurations and floor plans.

With an overall length of 25 feet, 11 inches, the Vantage 25 XT makes really great use of space not only in its accommodations, but also in its features. Fore and aft you’ll find matching chaise lounges with storage under the seats, as well as in the lounge backs. This setup creates an open walkway from bow to stern down the centre of the boat.
