A great choice for a couple or a small family

If you’re a couple or a small family with a couple of kids looking for a used express cruiser, you may be thinking Sea Ray, Doral or Bayliner. But don’t overlook the various other choices available in the marketplace such as our test subject – a 1991 Larson Cabrio 300.

With a length of 30 feet (32 feet, 6 inches overall) and a beam of 10 feet, 6 inches, this express cruiser is the perfect size for an extended cruise for a two-person crew or for weekends at anchor if there’s a couple of small ones aboard.

The Cabrio 300 is definitely a sporty looking express cruiser, and this boat’s custom “offshore” styled windshield really contributed to the look. The new camper-style canvas was designed to fit the low windshield, but the owner still has the original windshield ready to be retrofitted if any future owner desired.
