2006 Rinker 360
Added options and customized touches make this boat something to see
By Mike Gridley
Rinker has built a reputation on delivering a lot of value for the money across its entire range of boats, especially with the cruiser models. In 2005, the company introduced the 360, an express that came pretty much fully optioned. Last summer I was able to test a 2006 Rinker 360 with some added options and customized touches that made the boat something to see.
Although easily recognized as a Rinker Fiesta Vee Express with its flowing lines, this boat’s hull has no brand or model identification due to the level of customization done by Rinker and the selling dealer. The only logos are found on the upholstery and helm.
Other changes are also evident at first glance from the dock. The owner had all new custom canvas installed with multiple screens and a windshield wrap to fit his needs. As with all 360s, the forward-leaning radar arch is not only appealing, but quite functional. It is festooned with twin VHF antennas, TV antenna, radome, GPS antenna and FM antenna all mounted where they function best.
Other options you won’t notice include a bow thruster, epoxy barrier coating below the waterline, and LED deck and underwater lights.
