For years, we at Boats&Places have wanted to include a piece on cruising the Great Loop but did not know how best to make our mark on this popular topic. That was until our publisher Brian Minton met Gerry and Joanne Buckley at a Georgian Bay anchorage in summer 2009. This four-part series is a glimpse at the couple's emails home, which offer insight into the lifestyle of a Looper and the daily ins and outs of making the journey.
