Frying Pan Island staple Henry’s Fish Restaurant has changed hands to new owners. As of May 1, 2018, the Sans Souci location will be owned and operated by Ted and Rachel Larocque.
This news comes as a relief to boaters who found the Georgian Bay restaurant shuttered last season after 40 years in operation. Paul and Joanne Elliot, who ran Henry’s for 25 years, will continue to run the Midland location at Wye Heritage Marina.
Paul addressed the sale saying, “Joanne, Sarah and I would like to thank all of friends and customers over the past 25 years for the truly wonderful life opportunity that Henry’s has given us in Sans Souci and I’m absolutely sure that Ted, Rachel and family are looking forward to the same experience.”
